Proud Americans
Utah Governor Spencer Cox and Maryland Governor Wes Moore remind us that politics is important but shouldn't define us or destroy our relationships.
Divided and
Disappointed
Most Americans are politically engaged but worried about our future and want to find ways to improve and unify. We call them the exhausted majority. Sound familiar?
“No established democracy in recent history has been as deeply polarized as the U.S.”

Real Results
We started with 23 governors and mayors. We filmed their stories and shared their commitment to reach across the aisle and Disagree Better with the world.
An independent Stanford study showed those Disagree Better videos featuring the Governors and Mayors to 6,500 study participants to see if their example made an impact.
The results were clear: The divide got smaller. People were more open to listening and discussing. They were willing to set aside preconceived notions and consider another point of view.
