Welcome to the Disagree Better website (the “Site”) owned by Disagree Better, Inc. (hereinafter “Disagree Better,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using this Site, you agree to the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Use”).
1. Use of Site Content
Unless otherwise noted, all content on this Site (text, graphics, videos, etc.) (“Content”) is the property of Disagree Better and may not be used without permission. Unauthorized use may violate copyright, trademark, or other laws.
You may:
- View and share Content for non-commercial, educational, or personal use
- Link to our pages with appropriate attribution (e.g., “Source: Disagree Better” with a link to disagreebetter.us)
You may not:
- Reproduce or distribute Content for commercial purposes without our written consent
- Misrepresent the origin of any material
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to restricted parts of the Site
- Use any of Disagree Better’s logos, trademarks or other proprietary graphics as part of the link without express written permission, or in any manner that causes confusion

If you submit a form, comment, or message via this Site:
- You agree not to submit unlawful, harmful, or defamatory Content
- You agree not to submit the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property of any individual, third-party, or corporation without their explicit written consent. We reserve the right to remove any Content we infer is infringing the rights of a third-party in accordance with Section 10 below.
- We may use your message to respond or improve services
We reserve the right to remove inappropriate Content or restrict access at our discretion.
3. Personal Information
Disagree Better’s use of personal information collected from and about you in connection with your use of the Site, including when you provide your email address to sign up for our newsletter, is governed by a Privacy Policy, available here. Disagree Better may monitor your use of the Site and may freely use and disclose any information and materials received from you or collected through your use of the Site for any lawful reason or purpose.
4. No Confidentiality
You acknowledge that transmissions to and from the Site are not confidential and your communications may be read or intercepted by others. You acknowledge that by submitting communications to the Site, no confidential, fiduciary, contractually implied, or other relationship is created between you and Disagree Better other than in accordance with this Terms of Use.
5. Disclaimers
We make no warranties that:
- The Site will operate uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Site or the server that makes it available is free of viruses or other harmful elements.
- Content is accurate, complete, or current. You acknowledge that any reliance upon any such opinion, advice, statement, memorandum, or information is at your sole risk. Disagree Better reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to correct any errors or omissions in any portion of the Site at any time. Any advice, opinion, statement, or other information contained in works or other Content featured on the Site do not necessarily represent the views of Disagree Better.
This Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
6. Limitation of Liability
Disagree Better is not liable for any damages resulting from your use of the Site or Content, including indirect or consequential damages.
7. Links to Other Sites
We may link to external third-party websites, which are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement. We are not responsible for and make no warranties with respect to their Content or policies of third parties.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms of Use at any time by posting updates. Your continued use of the Site indicates acceptance of the revised Terms of Use.
9. Changes to the Website
At any time, we may change, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Site, including the availability of any particular Site feature. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict your access to parts or all of the Site without notice or liability.
10. Copyright Protection
Disagree Better respects the intellectual property rights of others. It is Disagree Better’s policy to respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the law. Disagree Better reserves the right to delete or disable Content alleged to be infringing. Potential infringement should be reported per our Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) Policy below. Copyright owners, or those authorized to act on behalf of one or authorized to act under any exclusive right of copyright, may report alleged copyright infringement occurring on the Site by completing the following DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement (the “Notice”) and delivering it to the Designated Agent. 11. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws the State of Utah without regard to its conflicts-of-law provisions. Sole and exclusive jurisdiction for any action or proceeding arising out of or related to this Terms of Use is in an appropriate state or federal court located in State of Utah. Any cause of action you may have with respect to your use of the Site must be commenced within one year after the claim or cause of action arises.

Disagree Better, Inc. (hereinafter “Disagree Better,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information. Your use of the website disagreebetter.us, and all platforms, blogs, and features of the website (the “Site”) indicates your acceptance of this Policy. If you do not accept all of the terms of this Policy, you should not use the Site. This Policy may change, so please refer to it periodically.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect “Personal Information” and any other information, which you provide to us. Personal Information is information that would allow someone to identify or contact you, including, for example, your name, organization, address, phone number and email address. The Personal Information we collect might include your name, address, organization name, phone number, and email address. If you donate or register for an event, you may be directed to a third-party website to process that transaction. They may collect additional information necessary to complete that transaction or application.
We may keep your Personal Information for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it is processed or as allowed under applicable law. These periods vary depending on the nature of the information and your interactions with us.
You may generally browse the Site without providing any Personal Information.
We may also collect “Non-Identifiable Information” through automated means such as cookies, analytics, and similar technologies and services when you use the Site, including, but not limited to, through third-party service providers such as Google Analytics (GA4) and Meta Pixel (which we use for campaign measurement and optimization) as further detailed in Section 3 below. Non-Identifiable Information is information that does not reveal your specific identity, including browser and device information, access and usage data, Internet Protocol address, and Site usage information collected through cookies, pixel tags and other technologies. Non-identifiable Information also includes information that has been anonymized or aggregated in a manner that no longer reveals your specific identity.
2. How We Use and Disclose Your Information
We use the Personal Information you provide to:
- Respond to inquiries and messages
- Share relevant updates or resources (only if opted in)
In the event you donate or engage in other financial transactions, you grant us permission to access your credit card information or other financial information to complete your donation or financial transaction. Disagree Better will not share, rent, or sell this financial-related information to any third-parties without your consent, except that your credit card and other Personal Information will be shared with our credit card processor or other financial intermediary and then only to process the transaction.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your Personal Information. We may share your Personal Information with service partners, information services providers and contractors that assist in furtherance of our mission and administer activities on our behalf, for example, to maintain our Site, blogs and computer systems, collect and process donations, or provide marketing services. If law enforcement or judicial authorities require us to provide them with your Personal Information, we must cooperate with the authorities if their request is supported with the necessary legal documentation. If we or some or all of our assets are acquired by another organization, such as through a merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy, that organization will possess the information collected by us, and it will assume the rights and obligations regarding our information as described in this Policy. We reserve the right to disclose your Personal Information to protect the rights, property, safety or security of Disagree Better, our users, or the public.
We use the Non-Identifiable Information you provide to:
- Understand Site usage and improve our content
- Track the effectiveness of our outreach campaigns

We may share Non-Identifiable Information, including information that has been de-identified or aggregated and other technical information, without limitation.
3. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services to support the operation of our Site, which may include but not be limited to automated tracking, analytics, cookies, and other similar technologies:
- Google Analytics: Website analytics and advertising features (including Google Signals)
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram): Ad measurement and remarketing
- Cloudflare Turnstile: Spam protection
These services may use cookies, device identifiers, or other tracking technologies to collect and analyze data. Each provider has its own privacy practices.
A cookie is a small piece of information that a website can store on a computer and later use to recognize a user. The purpose of cookies is to enhance your ability to receive the information you want. We may use cookies to enhance the experience of users of the Site. A session cookie expires when a user closes the browser in which the Site was viewed.
When Google Signals is enabled, Google may associate session data from this Site with users who are signed into their Google accounts and have consented to Ads Personalization. This helps us access aggregated demographic and interest data to improve the effectiveness of our Site and outreach.

Disagree Better does not control cookies or data collection tools used by third parties, and this Privacy Policy does not cover their use. We may use data collected through Google Signals and Meta Pixel for:
- Audience insights and reporting
- Cross-device analytics
- Interest-based advertising and remarketing campaigns

5. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We are not, however, responsible for any information you share with other users of the Site or other third-parties. While we strive to use reasonable practices to protect your information, Disagree Better cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. Note that we may be entitled to decline certain requests or retain information under certain circumstances, under applicable laws. Depending on where you reside in the United States, certain state privacy laws may apply to the processing of your Personal Information, including specific rights to review, correct, obtain in a portable format and/or request deletion of the Personal Information we collect about you. These laws also establish deadlines for you to appeal any decision we make with respect to your Personal Information. You should confirm your rights in your state of residence. We reserve the right to confirm your identity before allowing you to review, correct, obtain, or request deletion of your Personal Information.
This paragraph does not reflect a view or admission on the part of Disagree Better that it is subject to any specific data privacy laws from which it is ordinarily exempt, such as due to the terms of applicable law or Disagree Better’s status as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
7. Our Policy on “Do Not Track” Signals
Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a privacy preference that users can set in certain web browsers. Because there is no current industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, we do not respond to DNT signals at this time.
8. Links to Other Websites
The Site may contain links to or frame third-party websites. Disagree Better is not responsible for the privacy practices, policies, or content of those websites. Once you link to any third-party website, you are subject to the terms of service and privacy policy of that website. We encourage you to investigate and ask questions before disclosing information to third-parties.
9. Children’s Privacy
This Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
10. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Site means that you consent to our updates and amendments.
11. International Usage
The Site is controlled, operated, and administered entirely within the United States. We do not solicit or knowingly collect personal data from individuals outside the United States. If you visit, access, interact with, and/or otherwise use the Site from a location outside the United States, please be advised that any information you provide in connection with any such activity may be processed in and/or transferred to the United States and/or other territories and locations, where privacy protections may not be as comprehensive as those in the territory or location where you interact with or otherwise use the Site.
